I guess I took Gert for granted because I could not believe how heart broken I have been since she died. Gert was not very obedient or well trained but a comical and very vocal dog. I mean she didn't just bark but made all sorts of grunts, snorts and whines. She was a very friendly and affectionate dog and loved everybody.

I will never forget her as long as I live. Fairwell Gertie I hope you are in a better place .
