Billy Ray and Daisy May came to us because their owner could no longer care for them. They are good dogs and seem to get along with everyone. Daisy is deaf and follows Billy's lead. I'm looking for an all adult home for them, experienced with owning dachshunds, with a good-sized securely fenced yard (not invisible or electric). They love to walk so am seeking an adopter who is used to regularly walking their dogs. I cant guarantee housetraining skills as they were recently sprung from the shelter after being there a month. I'm sure they would be happier if their person was retired and could focus on them. Also, they would really like BIG bed privileges - let's face it most doxies do! *** There dogs are being fostered in Maryland. All things considered, local adopters will be given preference so that an in-person home visit can be done. Applicants must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Billy and Daisy.***. |
