| Hilda came to DRNA from Texas, and unfortunately we don’t have much of a history on her, she may have been a stray. She may have been abused. She is slow to warm up to new people. Though she is a good dog that is only if she accepts you as a person she can trust. She will be head shy until then and will get defensive if approached quickly. Needs to come to you in her own time. Hilda is a 10-year-old sweetheart with a great personality and a big heart. She’s funny, happy, and very energetic for her age. Hilda loves to roam around a yard, taking in the world around her. She does do well with other animals. Hilda is hard of hearing and her eyesight isn’t the best, but it doesn’t slow her down. She gets around just fine but will need a fenced in yard. She can be timid when meeting new people, so patience and a gentle approach are a must. Once she feels safe, her affectionate and happy nature is all there. Hilda would do very well in a calm, loving, quiet home, and enjoy the comfort and safety she is now accustomed to. If you’re looking for a loyal, charming senior with lots of love, Hilda may be the perfect match. She is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. Aside from preventatives, she is not on any medication. |
