Biography

If you are looking for a standard dachshund to cuddle with Perry is your man - unless you have a cat or any animal that resembles one. He has an extremely high prey instinct. He will bark when you leave but eventually settle and wait for you to return. He is completely house trained and is so gentle and loving. He does have some pretty bad teeth and is scheduled for a dental on the 30th, but he will be ready for his forever home quickly. He is fine with other dachshunds in his foster home and even has no problem with Shepard and the large Hound next door. He is an all-around great senior doxie except for the prey instinct.

*Mileage restriction will be waived if approved adopter is willing to come to the Hampton Roads, VA, area to pick him up.
