| Meet Poppy- she is 8-10months old and 10lbs. Poppy is a gentle, sweet natured puppy who's just beginning to blossum in her new foster home. Though timid at first, this little girl has a heart full of love and a playful spirit waiting to shine. With each passing day, she's gaining confidence and showing more of her personality. Poppy was found wandering the streets of Texas in rough shape, but since arriving in foster care, she’s made amazing progress. She enjoys long walks, snuggling close with her humans, and even playing a game of fetch with her toys. She’s doing wonderfully with potty training and sleeps soundly through the night in her playpen (which she keeps clean!). She would absolutely love the chance to snuggle up in the big bed if her future family is open to it. A basic obedience class would be great for building her confidence and helping her continue to thrive. Respectful older children would be a fine match for her calm and gentle personality. We’re still getting to know Poppy, but one thing’s for sure—she’s ready to find the love and stability she deserves.
