Jake and Pixie were surrendered to our rescue because their elderly owner could no longer care for them because of her own physical limitations. They are great dogs and are really bonded to each other. Jake doesn't act like a senior dog at all. He is quite active. Both love exploring in their fenced yard and playing with each other. They are housetrained as far as we can tell. They need an adopter who will allow them to sleep in the big bed. They love people after an initial warming up period. Pixie loves to be on your lap and Jake is happy to lay on the couch by your side. They are a perfect little pair. They are instantly good with other small dogs. They have started doing zoomies when it's meal time. You will be guaranteed hours of entertainment with them! *** They are being fostered in Maryland. All things considered, local adopters will be given preference. Applicants must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt them.***.
