Ebony, a doxie mix, came to DRNA from a shelter in Tennessee. Her family gave her up because they had a baby and could no longer take care of Ebony. She is a tripod (only has three legs) but gets around just fine. She gets along with other dogs but is independent and could be an only dog if her person is home more than not. She is sweet and seeks human attention. She can be somewhat timid at first as she figures out if she can trust you. It seems that she may have had some mistreatment in her life from humans as she is hand-shy. She does need a fenced yard. No cats or children. She is fine on a leash. ***Applicants must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Ebony.***
