| ******Elliott is blind and quite hard of hearing***** Elliot was given up because his family couldn't take him when they moved. He is a good boy and we feel bad for him. He would do best in a home with no stairs (inside or outside), one level living and a fenced yard. Because of his blindness, he can't/won't walk on a leash. Elliot does well in the big bed. He either sleeps on you or right up next to you but doesn't like to be disturbed! At home he likes to walk with his body up against your legs so he knows where you are and where he is going. He sometimes bumps into walls and goes into rooms and has a hard time getting out. You have to shake his dish and put it under his nose so he can find it. He likes other dogs but not cats. We prefer an all-adult home for Elliot with a small dog buddy his ager, a secure fenced yard and no cats or children. He will need a lot of patience as he settles in to his new home. It's not easy being an old blind nearly deaf dog and having to make changes.
