Rusty hails from the great state of Texas. He was taken to a shelter there because his owner passed away. Rusty is a friendly, happy little dog who likes all dogs and people he meets. He will follow you everywhere and never tires of snuggling next to you and gazing into your eyes while you gently rub his tummy. He is personality plus! He plays with all the dogs in his foster home and has definitely made himself at home there. He loves to sleep in bed with his person or people right in the middle. He is house-trained and crate-trained. He would do best in a home with no stairs or one level living or with someone willing to carry him up and down stairs. He is good on a leash and enjoys walks and always wears a harness for walks. He does need a bit of a diet and exercise plan! Won't you open your heart and home to this charming little boy?
