Bobo is a happy go lucky kind of guy whose owner has fallen on hard times. She wants him to have a loving forever home and this isn’t easy for her. Bobo likes to stay close to his person but he isn’t clingy. He enjoys being petted when he’s ready for it. He does need time to warm up to new people so his desire for space needs to be understood. He has been loved a lot and well-cared for. Bobo is not adept at signaling that he needs to go potty outside but will go outside if asked. He is crate-trained. He is also leash-trained also and used to a fenced yard and loves to run after squirrels! He does need a dachshund savvy adult only home with a single-family securely fenced yard. We believe Bobo would do best with an older calm dog buddy. ***Applicants must be willing to drive to Silver Spring, Maryland to meet and adopt Bobo.****
