Scout and Sunny are a lovely pair of bonded seniors. Scout is a wheaton wire-hair and Sunny is a cream long-hair. Their owner became quite ill and asked his vet if the girls could be put to sleep since his family wouldn't help him and he couldn't find anyone to adopt them. A very kind person there asked if she could find a rescue group to take Scout and Sunny and the owner agreed to board them until she found a group to help the girls. That's where we came in! We could not look the other way when we heard about their predicament. Both have the sweetest personalities. Scout is diabetic and requires twice daily insulin injections. Insulin is sold at Walmart for about $24 a month which is very reasonable. Scout's eyesight is diminished and she has some extra weight. However Sunny is very obese - maybe 20 lbs over weight. Their new foster home runs a Boot Camp for chubby wubby doxies so we expect them to slim down soon! Please contact us if these cute babies could possibly wiggle their way into your heart! ***Applicant should be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Scout and Sunny.**** |
