Biography

Lucky had a tough time before he came to rescue. He was found wandering the streets of Virginia Beach with another dog. Both were very emaciated. Going to the shelter isn't always the best experience for dogs but at least he got two square meals a day! He is doing well now and seems very happy, plays with toys and has his own language! He grunts and he snuffles, he whines and he barks. He’s very vocal. He’s a very cute very sweet dog. He’s gaining weight and is a very friendly outgoing guy. He does need help with housetraining. We'd like Lucky to have a home with a fenced yard and dogs his size and age and energy level who don't really care about toys so there are no doggie misunderstandings! He loves to sleep in the big bed with his people. ****Applicant should be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Lucky.****
