Meet Paige.............another doxie from a puppy mill farm. Paige was a family favorite and so had the run of the barnyard and barn, along with some other small dogs. She played with the family's children and gets along well with other dogs. She was bred for the first part of her life, and just had the mammary tumors from not being spayed removed. Biopsy is pending. Paige is housetrained and will also use puppy pads. She gets along well with everyone and is a quiet girl. She will not be placed in a home with any small pets as she is rumored to have chased the family guinea pigs. Page is a sweet quiet girl with a wonderful temperament who would be an excellent companion for retired folks or a family alike. She is in the senior to senior adoption program with her adoption fee waived for adopters over age 60 years. For younger folks her adoption fee is $150.00. Update 10/5----Paige has shown herself to be a crafty girl who is able to dig to get under fences.....especially if she smells a squirrel or mole etc. She will either need to be in a home where she will be leashwalked or where there is a VERY secure fence that goes down into the ground and she will be supervised while outside. She has moved rocks that were placed to keep her from digging. No dog doors where she would be left in a fenced yard unattended!
