Donate an Annual Check-Up
Prior
to adoption, all DRNA dogs are examined by a veterinarian
and given all required vaccinations. The purpose of the annual
check-up is not just for vaccinations, it also gives the veterinarian
a chance to thoroughly check the dog for any possible problems.
Unusual weight gain, pale gums, abnormal size of the internal
organs and a positive heartworm test are all areas of concern.
Early detection gives us the opportunity to identify any possible
long-term illnesses and gives the dog a chance at a long,
normal life.
Some of the dogs we receive have never been to the vet and
need all required vaccinations and others need to be seen
so we can verify they are healthy and ready for adoption.
