Donate an Emergency Room Visit
At
some point in time most pet owners will visit the emergency
room at their local animal hospital. Unfortunately, in rescue,
there is a greater chance of this occurring due to the condition
of the dogs we receive. Since we cannot dictate when a dog
will get sick, we have to utilize the services of the after
hours emergency room.
We try and keep our cost for the care of each dog down and
that is why our foster homes are very experienced in the care
of our dogs but there are those things that are beyond our
abilities. There can be complications from a spay or neuter,
heartworm treatment and then the all dreaded back episode.
Emergency room visits are very expensive and can cost anywhere
from $70.00 to $100 just to walk through the door which doesn’t
include any necessary treatment. Cost is not an issue when
it comes to the care and well being of our dogs in an emergency
situation so any assistance you can provide would be greatly
appreciated.

emergency room!
