| **** June is "Adopt-a-Senior Month" so adoption fee is waived for all our senior Doxies!! **** Please don’t put Baby in a corner...she deserves a wonderful forever home. She was abandoned at a shelter by her previous owners in terrible condition. With good nutrition, some vet care, and a lot of love, Baby blossomed into an active, healthy little girl with a great big appetite. It’s hard to believe her before picture is actually the same dog! People who meet her are amazed she is 13. She looks forward to a walk each afternoon and enjoys a couple of play sessions with her stuffed toys each day. Baby is housebroken. She’s let out on a schedule in her foster home, but if she needs to go out she will either "talk" to you or jump up on your leg. She would do fine as an only dog but could be placed with another calm, submissive dog. As with many doxies, she’s protective of her toys and food. She is fed in her crate, which she charges into full steam ahead at meal times! She likes to turn in for the night early and will burrow under blankets and wrap herself up. It’s fun to watch her flip the blankets around with her nose to get them just right. She currently sleeps in a crate near the big bed but has been training her foster mom to allow her in the bed for a couple of hours of quality snuggling in the mornings. Baby’s wish is that one day she will be able to start the night out in the big bed with her very own forever family. Will you be the one to grant Baby’s wish?
