| Meet Phoebe. Phoebe was surrendered by her owner to a local animal shelter due to "medical reasons". She came to DRNA needing a dental cleaning and she was pretty over-weight. After a trip to the vet for the dental cleaning, careful feeding and exercise Phoebe is ready for a new home. Honestly, I'm not sure how to describe Phoebe. She's sweet, loves to sit in your lap and watch TV. She'll bring you her rope bone and bark at you to throw it for a good game of fetch, and she does return the rope bone to you. When one of my friends brought her 8 year old daughter to the house for a visit Phoebe got excited and wanted to play with her. She loves children but remember, Phoebe is a little dog so be careful. She would prefer to sleep in the big bed with you but she's ok sleeping in her own bed, especially if you have other dogs to sleep with her. She has mixed in well with her other foster brothers and sister and gets along well with the whole crew. Let me keep it simple, Phoebe is a great companion. I know someone would be super happy to have her as a pet, now I just have to find that person. Are you that person? E-mail me to find out, we are happy to answer any questions you might have. |
