| Sweet little Mallory is a chiwenie - Dachshund and Chihuahua mix. She still acts much like a puppy, playing constantly. Mallory is an Alpha female and will need a strong dachsie savvy hand to keep her under control Once she understands the rules, she is obedient even though she will try to get away with her own deires. She gets along with all the dogs, large and small, at Foster Central, although she is a bit too active for the Seniors. She is a little shy at first meeting, but quickly warms up to her people and loves them all! She is doing well with her house training although she still has occasional accidents, especially when she is "too busy" to stop playing. So, a strict schedule of going outside is a must!! Mallory is crate trained and sleeps through the night without incident. She willingly goes into the crate, but is always ready to get out for snuggle time with her humans or play with her brothers and sisters. She walks well on a leash except when she wants to venture away to "smell the roses (and anything else that tickles her fancy!)" Mallory needs an active home with at least one other active dog. She also needs a fence as she likes to sneak out the door and run around the larger yard, even though she returns when you call her. Her adoption fee is $275.00 |
