| Meet JEFFERSON----the luckiest dog around!! Jefferson is a SURVIVOR for sure. He was a stray struck by a car in June. The kind vet on duty for the shelter decided to give him a chance. She took care of him and when he was able, she took him to her home to foster. Today the only leftover problem is his shorter tail. He is a delightful doxie gentleman!! HOORAY for JEFFERSON and Doc Tammi!!!! Jefferson is an easy-going kind of guy...gets along with small dogs, cats, and respectful children. Likes to be with people, LOVES to give kisses, goes along to play with the other dogs, just a real congenial fellow and a great companion. AND-----100% housetrained and crate trained!! He comes and tells you he needs to go out like Lassie told people she needed them to come with her....bouncing back and forth toward the door. So cute and so smart!! All he needs now is a family to love him furever!! Why no one came looking for him when he disappeared from his former home I just cannot understand.
