| Let me start by saying that Sadie is the nicest dog you'll ever meet! Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She was turned into the local shelter due to her former owner's inability to care for her and it sure did show. Poor Sadie had lost most of her hair, had a very bad skin infection, terrible tartar on her teeth and was skin and bones when we rescued her. She only weighs 6.7 lbs. In spite of all she has endured, she has a loving temperament. The day she was rescued, she licked her foster mom's hand while on the table for her examination. She loves everyone she meets, including other dogs her size. Her former owner said she likes cats. Sadie is receiving medicated baths and already looks much better. She tolerates baths very well. She is receiving wonderful care in her foster home and will be ready for adoption soon. She is house-trained (has not had one accident in her foster home)! Being a teeny tiny senior, we will only place her into in a quiet all-adult home hopefully with another small older dog and fenced yard. Sadie is a lovable little girl who deserves only the best of homes for the rest of her life. ****Applicants must be willing to travel to Ellicott City MD (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Sadie. Adoption fee waived for adopters 60 and over!**** |
