Biography
Diva is a sweet shy long-legged doxie-chi mix (mostly chi with the best ears) who was found as a stray and was taken to a local shelter where it became a nightmarish experience for her with all the noise, barking, dogs and people. She stayed curled up in a ball the whole time so terribly afraid to move a muscle. Not one person was interested in adopting this doll because it appeared she had given up on life. Unfortunately, in most shelters "not showing well" is punishable by death unless a rescue group agrees to help the dog which we did because she needed us. So that is the story of how little Diva became an "honorary" doxie. She loves to play with the smaller dogs in her foster home (and me). It's quite hilarious to watch her play with short-legged doxies! She needs a young playful dog buddy in her new home. She is very affectionate and will follow you everywhere. She loves to explore in the fenced yard and also enjoys sun-bathing. She is a pretty cool intelligent dog. ****Applicants must be willing to travel to Ellicott City MD (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Diva. Her adoption fee is $275.****
