Emma and Hokie are a bonded pair of sweet senior dogs whose owners gave them up because they could not provide them the care and attention they needed between working full-time and caring for children. Because of this both dogs spent their day and night in a crate. Both dogs were good with the children and the family cat in the home. Emma and Hokie have been inseparable. They share a crate, their food bowl and dog bed. They have never had an accident in their crate. These two have been cared for all their lives and shown love. They need a home with a fenced yard, an adopter who isn't gone long hours, enjoys walking and who won't over-crate them. Also, Emma needs a diet and exercise program! They need to be put on a schedule for going outside so there are no accidents. They had accidents in their home but the owners blamed themselves for not letting them out often enough. ****Applicants must be willing to travel to Ellicott City MD (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Emma and Hokie. Their adoption fees are $150 each unless you are 60 and over. In that case the adoption fees are waived. **** |
