| Trixie was dumped at a shelter with her 6 puppies who were only weeks old. Her owners felt they would rather keep the handsome English Springer Spaniel who fathered the puppies, than a Dachshund mix with little muttlettes. So yes, her and her babies were tossed away. But Trixie and her pups were rescued by DRNA. Trixie has now weaned her adorable babies who are finding homes of their own. Trixie will be spayed and have her final vaccines in about two weeks. She will be ready for a loving home all of her own. Trixie has been a great mom, and she is an adorable sweetheart. She appears to like everyone, but needs time to warm up to some men. She loves riding in the car, sleeping in the big bed and hanging out with you. Can you give this sweet girl a loving home?
