| Ralphie here with an exciting update...thanks to the generosity of several donors, I have my new wheels and sure enough, I CAN FLY! Thanks to each and every one of you I am your heart dog and you are my heart! Check out my new pic with my wheelchair AND Monk-Monk, my stuffing free monkey toy to whom I am seriously devoted. The DRNA folks are taking care of the incontinence problems that accompany being paralyzed, and are working with PT to heal an open sore on my body caused my dragging my back legs and we still hope my legs might loosen up just a tiny bit, although it is clear I will never walk. Self pity? Not an ounce of it! Getting me a new wheel chair that actually FITS was the final icing on the cake and I am ever so grateful. The donors who made this possible checked me out on the Dogs that Need Help page (under Fundraising...I am the first dog listed). I love them and I love you. Now all I need is a loving forever home. Can it be with you? The DRNA folks will be happy to show you just how to incorporate me into your household if you have never had a paralyzed dog and people who do would not have it any other way...that is, there are special people who not only want to donate money they want to give somebody like me time and unconditional love.
