Biography

Misty is a sweet senior dachshund whose owner passed away leaving her and her two brothers without a home. The owner’s kind son took them in and contacted DRNA to help with them. All in all, they are adjusting but Misty is a bit shy so it is taking her longer. She walks well on a leash, likes her crate and is used to a fenced yard. She will need a dog buddy in the home or to be adopted with one of her siblings. She does know to do her business outside but may have accidents if left for too long. She needs an owner who is home more than not. She is quiet and submissive but is starting to become playful and affectionate. She loves to sit next to her person. She doesn’t like loud noises and could bolt if frightened. ****Applicants must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Misty.****
