Biography
Some people had put me up as a “For Free” dog. A lady came to take me to her house as she seen I was struggling to walk. She thought I had been abused but her vet said I had back issues. The lady could not afford to handle those issues so I was turned over to a local shelter. There I was put in this rescue and came to this foster home. I have smitten everyone who has seen me…I am a determined little girl who wants desperately to walk without falling on my behind! They all say I am PERSONALITY-PLUS, too…and I will be the first to make sure you understand that. I love to be loved and give love back…especially if you buy me toys!!! I heard foster Mom say I am amazing. I make a toy take on a new shape in no time!!
I get along with the 7 other dogs here as long as they don’t eyeball MY toys too long!
I have been taking acupuncture treatments for my back. They say I have come a long way from where I was…but not sure what the future holds for me at this point. I have better control of my bladder and bowels now, too. Little Bit walks very well now, she isn’t falling over like when she came to us. Foster Mom says, "This little girl is a hoot! She will keep you laughing all day with her antics".
If you are interested in a loving person in a dog’s body & can have the time to take care of my little extra needs, I am the one for you!
She is slowly but surely becoming stronger in her use of her legs but still, at this point, displays a wobble in her walk in her hindquarters. She still needs her bladder expressed about 3 times a day, sometimes if greatly excited she will dribble if not expressed.
UPDATE 03-01-2017 Little Bit has grown in strength to her back legs that she does not fall over, runs as fast as the other dogs, does need bladder expressed 4-5 times in 24 hr period to help any bladder leak issues. Acupuncture treatments are now growing farther apart as she continues to exercise her legs.
She still continues to need your donations to continue her success. She would gladly lick your face to Thank You!!! if she could!
