| My name is Pepper and I am looking for a new home. I am 5 years old and a very sweet little girl. Well, maybe little is the wrong word I do weigh 29lbs but I am a standard dachshund not a miniature so 29 lbs is perfect for me. I might be 5 years old but people tell me a act more like a 2 year old, except for the chewing part I don't chew on anything except my toys. I am very loving and devoted. I love kids and going outside especially if there are squirrels. I am very well trained - I sit, stay, lay down and roll over. I am working on walking on a leash but it is really hard to concentrate with all the squirrels around. I am totally house trained and I ask to go out when I need to go. I have a very serious bark but will go to strangers as soon as my peeps tell me it is OK. I do like to be the boss so I am looking for a home with no other alpha dogs and definitely no dogs smaller than me. I am kennel trained and will kennel during the day or at night but I prefer to sleep on the bed if you'll have me. This little girl is eager to please.
