Biography
My name is Sophia, and this is my sister Roxanne (aka Roxy) actual litter-mates who have enjoyed our entire 11 years together. Last week our life took a negative turn. I am reaching out to someone special who may have a big bed for us to sleep in as family. Our person fell on very hard times and lost her home. She spent many months trying to find affordable housing that would allow her to take us with her. She wanted very much to keep our family together. Unfortunately for us; she couldn’t do that. Thanks to the help of a volunteer; we were transported from Ohio to Pennsylvania to live in a foster home. I speak for my sister, because she is very shy and anxious during this transition. I have assured her we will be together for the rest of our days. I plan on finding the perfect home to spend our retirement years.
I am friendly, outgoing and curious with enough spirit to choose the right home. Roxy, has slowly warmed up here She is starting to roll over and play. Roxy even joined me and the residents here barking to greet Doxie Daddy home from work. My sister and I are seniors, but play like younger adults. The longer we spend here with younger dogs the more active we become. We are both experts at snuggling on the couch in fluffy blankets with long naps. If you are the right person, we will agree to share the pillows.
Roxy and I are both house-trained, with crate when the people are out. The doggy door is new to us and still learning how it works. The fenced in back yard is AWESOME!!! I love to wander about for long times sniffing and exploring in the nice weather. Roxy needs a lot of encouragement still. I am doing my best to show her how much fun it is. I come when I am called (allowing the people to believe they are in charge here) Roxy does come when asked also, but she never goes far anyway.
I have a stunning black and tan silver-dapple coat. A petite figure compliments my skippy step. Roxanne is a tiny caramel chocolate delightful. Her gaze is hypnotic and gentile. We both are kind natured and would be fine in a home with or without children. I prefer the children be mature enough to understand the needs of our breed. We each have a small lump curve on our tail. I tell my friends it was because we were holding each other’s tail before we were born.
If you are interested in me reviewing you as our companions please apply at DRNA.org Our vaccines and all vetting will be updated prior to adoption.
