| Behind those gorgeous eyes, lies a sad story. And I'm sure if Gus could tell us, there is more to this story than we can imagine. You see, Gus went down in the back. His owners took him to their vet and surrendered him there. They either could not or would not afford treatment. As any ethical vet would do, they would try to help Gus as much as they could. But instead this vet took Gus to the nearest shelter! The shelter felt no one would come in and want to adopt a dog who "was broken", and so Gus was scheduled to be euthanized. Well, thankfully Gus guardian angels looking out for him. A very sweet couple went and got Gus. This same couple then took Gus to physical therapy, where he had laser treatments, water treadmill work outs and exercises. And before long this "broken" boy, was walking!. It may not be the prettiest walk, but Gus walks. Has full bowel and bladder control and is housebroken. Gus is so adorable and sweet. He is full of love. He also loves to play with toys, and is an all around great guy. Gus is only 4 years old and he has a full life ahead of him. All because some people cared. Gus is located in SW PA. below Pittsburgh.
