Biography
Rascal lost his original home because his owner could no longer care for him. He was adopted this past December and is being returned because of his owner is in ICU awaiting an organ transplant. Rascal is a super sweet, super loving boy. He LOVES going for walks and gets excited when he sees his harness. He’s just as happy being curled up on the couch watching TV with you. He will climb in your lap, give you kisses, and then plop over on his back for belly rubs. Rascal loves playing with a laser pointer or a flashlight. He “pounces” on the light just like a cat. He acts like a puppy when the laser pointer comes out. He appears to love everyone he meets, both humans and dogs. And even though he likes chasing squirrels in the backyard, he’s totally fine with the resident cat and learned quickly to respect her space. He’s very well crate trained. Rascal also needs a secure fence (especially along the bottom) because he can squeeze through very small holes. He's not a dog that I would trust to be left alone in a fenced yard so definitely no doggie doors. Get your application in now for this sweet, lovable boy! ****Applicants must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Rascal.****
