| Snickers has spent most of his life in a crate. When he came to DRNA, he had no idea how to act around the other dogs. When he walked on the grass, he high stepped, as it was a new sensation for him. Checking out his new yard, he couldn't believe his eyes, that he was able to run and play like a normal dog. I can't imagine living in a crate for almost 8 years! Snickers is still learning lots of things, and will need a patient and understanding human who can help him continue to learn. He is trying to find his place in the pack order, and it has been difficult for him. There are several dogs here. He does like the little female here and wants to play with her. He loves his foster mom and runs too her, when he gets scared or doesn't understand what is happening. He will bark at strangers too. We think Snickers would do well in a home with one other dog, one that is confident and can help teach Snickers. No children, since he does bark at them. He loves sleeping in the big bed with foster mom and snuggles very close to her. Working on housebreaking too. He is a sweet boy and craves love for sure. Snickers is being fostered in SW PA about 65 miles SE of Pittsburgh. His adoption fee is only $150.00. He has been neutered and received all necessary vetting.
