| Donkey, here, the handsome one with the red collar standing beside my sister BJ aka Billie Jean. I know, I know...what kind of name is Donkey for a dachshund? Beats me but it does not mean I am stubborn I am not in the slightest. BJ and I came into rescue overweight and with truly wretched teeth but these wonderful DRNA folks fixed us right up, got us our badly needed dentals, brought our vetting up to date and enrolled us in Foster Mom's weight loss boot camp. Boy have we made progress! Billie Jean was even chunkier than me but we have both slimmed down. Foster Mom says I am just chock full of energy and it's go go go all the time! My sister is somewhat less energetic but she loves to snuggle and we are both very sweet. We are both house trained, we come when called...hey that's pretty special isn't it? We are so thankful that DRNA is keeping us together because we really need each other; personally I feel that my sister sees me as the family spokesman if you know what I mean....the energetic front man. Foster Mom is the BEST on bonded overweight pairs and she has declared us some of her all time faves. How about you? Could you open your hearts and your home to both of us forever?
