| Hello! My name is Midnight, and I'm sure my handsome good looks have caught your eye! I would love to share a bit about myself in hopes of finding the perfect adopters for me. I'm a happy and energetic young dude, always on the hunt for new smells, new places to play, and new friends. Foster mom and I take lots of long walks and new adventures, and I bet I would be a star at hiking too. I'm also very intelligent and love working with people to learn new behaviors and earn rewards: I've picked up sit and down, and will happily pay attention to an engaging handler, even in distracting environments! My foster mom is also dedicated to working through my quirks. I'm very uncomfortable with handling, especially new harnesses, brushes, and clippers, or being physically maneuvered in ways I'm unsure about. Instead of using aggression when I am afraid, my foster mom is slowly teaching me how fun and relaxing it can be to be touched and handled. Because of this, I have some special things in mind for my forever family. My ideal adopter will have no children (current or on the horizon). I will do best in a single-family dwelling, because not all neighbors will like that I bark when left alone. Most of all, I will need loving guardians who can strike the right balance between accepting my doggy self, flaws and all, and working diligently on my training to keep me safe and happy. DRNA will help potential adopters to locate a reputable trainer to meet with in order to get me off on the right paw.
