Opie here. My tale starts out tragedy and ends in triumph thanks to DRNA! When my human died and I ended up in the shelter I was too depressed to eat which is pretty ironic since apparently I only ate people food and had as a result grown very...how shall we say it...how about fat! DRNA to the rescue immediately, and my foster mom whom I ADORE has taught me how to eat, what to eat, and I am beginning to look downright svelte! I could still probably lose a little more but my progress on this front and others has been nothing short of awesome. I am still somewhat of a resource guarder...toys, food, my person...but I am getting along much better with the other dogs and my potty training is coming right along as well....not aided and abetted by rain or cold weather I might add LOL...I must be a dachshund! Anyway, I am very loyal and loving but only to one person at a time so it will take me a little while to warm up to you but then..WATCH OUT! I am INCREDIBLY energetic. I love to walk, now I RACE around the yard, I love playing with toys, I eat dog food like a champ now, and Foster Mom says I have learned to be a good boy and that I am very handsome...what do you think?
