Biography
Susie is a very sweet, energetic and adorable looking young dachshund-chihuahua mix puppy. This little cutie was left day in and day out to lay in her urine and feces. So much so that her beautiful white coat is stained on her legs and undercarriage. Eventually, her new coat will grow in. Let me tell you that this neglectful treatment did not sour her attitude. She is a lovely happy little girl. Because she is only one year old, she would do best with an "at-home" adopter so she won't be left alone for long periods of time. She will need a securely fenced in yard but no invisible or electric fences. Adopters should be willing to take her to puppy obedience class and provide daily walks and play time so she can continue to be properly socialized. She will need another small young playful dog in the home or to be adopted with one of her foster sisters, Susie who is also a mix. No small children or large dogs, please. She could easily be hurt because she is so small. Adopters should have experience raising puppies. ****Applicant must be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Coco.****
