Biography
Jenna and Max are a mother and son bonded pair. They must be adopted together. Their previous owner had them since they were pups and Max was one of two litters born to Jenna. She had to surrender both dogs due to financial circumstances. They were raised around her kids who are now high school and college age. Jenna and Max would do better with older kids or teenagers due to their age. Both dogs like to walk and run around the backyard especially in the morning when the grass is cool. Jenna is the more dominant of the two. She likes to sit on your lap and be held. Max rarely wants to be held. Both dogs will roll over and like to have their bellies rubbed. If Jenna does not want to do something (like go outside to potty if it is raining), she will roll over on her back. Max will come up and lick your leg out of the blue as a greeting. They both like other dogs but Max is the more playful of the two. He likes to chew on the ears of his mama or play with other dogs. They will bark if they see or hear something like a bird outside but will quiet down if told to STOP. They are confined during the day in the kitchen and sleep together in the same crate (door open) or dog bed. Please give these wonderful dogs a second chance! You would never regret adopting these lovely senior dogs! ****Applicants must be willing to travel to Ellicott City MD (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Jenna and Max.****
