Biography
Tabby is a beautiful dachshund mix. She has a very unique color pattern. She looks like a red longhair doxie with a dapple saddle. She is quite stunning. She was dropped off at a WV shelter in their overnight box so we have no history on her. She is nothing but sweetness though! She gets along well with everyone. She is learning all the things that young dogs need to learn like walking on a leash and housetraining. She would do best with an "at-home" adopter so she won't be left alone for long periods of time. She will need a securely fenced in yard but no invisible or electric fences. Adopters should be willing to take her to puppy obedience class and provide daily walks and play time so she can continue to be properly socialized. She would do best as an only dog. Not crate-trained so can't be expected to stay in a crate. ****Applicants must be willing to travel to Ellicott City MD (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Tabby.****
