| Grace is a sweetheart! Even though she is blind she learns her surroundings quickly. She is laid back. Grace loves to snuggle and sleep under blankets. She gets along with other dogs. She has 3 other dogs in her foster home that she cuddles and sleeps with. Everyday at 2:00 you can find her on the couch snuggling with her foster grandma while they watch General Hospital! She gets so excited when her foster mom and dad come home!! She will bark and walk around until she finds them!! Grace is one of 12 Dachshunds that DRNA took in, via a hoarder case. The dogs were seized by animal control, and DRNA was asked to help. When we first met them, they were frightened and timid. Once they got to their foster homes, they blossomed! Grace had a terrible case of flea dermatitis. She has bald spots on her back and ears. With good food and baths with a conditioning shampoo she has a beautiful black long hair coat. She will be getting a dental and is spayed. She is up-to-date on shots so she is ready to go to a home that will shower her with the love that she deserves. She is located in Central PA. Her adoption fee is $150.00. Please fill out an application at www.drna.org She will potty on pee pads - yes she's able to find them once she knows where they are. She will also potty outside but does not indicate or make you aware that she needs to go out. Once you meet Grace you will instantly fall in love with her! |
