Biography
My name is Oliver, but my foster family calls me “Ollie”. I am a wirehair dachshund with slightly longer legs then most doxies. When I was rescued I had no fur from my neck to my tail because I was infested with fleas, but it didn’t take very long for my coat to come in. My foster mom says it was like watching a chia pet. Every day I got healthier and healthier. I am not very big (I weigh about 15 lbs) and I really like the company of one of the other small dogs in my foster home (I am not crazy about big dogs). The perfect forever home would be with another small dog, but I’d be OK alone as long as you wouldn’t leave me by myself. I would just love to sit on your lap and go for lots of walks with you. That would be the best home ever.

***Applicant should be willing to drive to Olney, Maryland to meet and adopt "Ollie". His adoption fee is $150.***
