| My name is Gracie (some call me Gracie and I am much too sweet and modest to brag but Foster Mom says I am beautiful. I am a purebred wheaton wire haired dachshund around 4 or 5 years young and I was rescued by the delightful folks at DRNA when my human mom could no longer keep me and two of my "sisters" because of some exceptionally bad breaks...her house burned down then one of her young sons died and then most recently her husband died and she was forced to downsize. Anyway, I am fine now and am a sweet cuddle bug I love to chase my toys, am good with both men and women, I walk well with my harness, and have mastered the kitchen (I eat well!) and I get an A+ on cover burrowing! I am not a big barker which is a big plus with dachshunds as you know. I am a work in progress on my potty habits but Foster Mom feels that with the consistency of a forever home I will master that in no time. And on a final positive note I do not mind at all my mani and pedi time....boy I must be remarkable! Will be getting all my vetting done soon including my spay and Foster Mom does not want to rush to adopt me out over the Christmas holidays (those pup presents often do not work well) but I just had to make my appearance.
