| Hi! My name is Sammy and I am a lovable 11-year-old boy with beautiful long silky black fur. My owner could no longer care for me so she called the nice folks at DRNA. I am blind due to cataracts, but that doesn’t stop me from doing most anything I want to do. I figured out the lay of the land in my foster home within days and can even find my way back to the house without anyone's help. I love being around other dogs and all people -- particularly those who like to cuddle. I’m crate-trained, but SO good that my foster mom can leave me gated in her big kitchen while she's away from home. I absolutely LOVE going outside (even wet grass is fine!). My foster mom says that I’m as sweet as can be and very easy-to-care-for. 7-30-14 Update: Sammy was neutered today and had a dental with 18 extractions. **** Applicants must be willing to drive to Clarksville, Maryland to meet and adopt Sammy.
