Poor Shelby! She was dumped at a shelter in SC. Luckily, DRNA was contacted and in the nick of time, Shelby was rescued with the help of a dedicated shelter worker. Shelby was taken home by the shelter worker and babied until her foster mom could pick her up. Can you give this sweet girl a nice home? She acts young and someone will be lucky to have her in their lives. She loves people, never met a stranger. She gets along with other dogs just fine, unless they try to steal her treat! She is a "velcro" dog and will follow her person around and get petting when she can. She is not a big barker, either. She seems to be housebroken. She doesn't like the crate very much but has adapted to being fed in one. She wants out as soon as she's done, though. She will bark then, to let you know she wants out. She has soulful eyes, with a blue spot in one, and she knows how to use them to get her person to give her treats, petting, or whatever else she wants. ****Applicant should be willing to drive to Ellicott City, Maryland (10 miles south of Baltimore) to meet and adopt Shelby.**** |
