| Gayla is a wonderful girl who will steal your heart. She was born blind but she is so smart and adventurous that she will "learn" your home and yard quickly. She is a very brave and trusting soul Gayla was bred and had babies and then was surrendered to rescue. She lived with her owner happily for many years but then her owner became very ill and found it hard to care for Gayla so in the last few months Gayla nails got very long and overgrown and she hid behind the sofa most of the day. Now she is out in our yard investigating new smells and listening to new sounds, but she is never too busy to roll over for a belly rub! She was also allowed to get very overweight and we are working on getting her weight down. Do you have the time and love to give to this wonderful girl? Because of her weight she will only be adopted to an applicant who promises to adhere to her new strict diet! |
