Biography

Hi! My name is Joy and I am a little red haired lady. Don’t be fooled by the gray on my face! They think I might be 10 but I sure have tons of energy and spunk that I act more like a 5 year old! I can keep up with with the big dog in my foster home. We have a kitty cat too and I find her very fascinating- she is bigger than me but I love to watch her play and want to play with her sometimes too although she isn’t quite open to that one yet- but I’m working on it. I guess you could say I’m a bit of a couch potato- but only if you are on the couch- otherwise I do just fine with a blanket or a big dog to curl up with. Wherever you are- that’s where I want to be. My foster mom says I’m her little shadow because I will follow her wherever she will go. Most of the time I just want to sit with you for a belly rub. I really love to explore and am always up for an adventure. A fence would be nice but not really necessary since I don't want to stay outside without you. When it comes to bed time- I like to burrow under the covers and sleep at your feet but don’t be surprised if you wake up and find me in your arms or giving you kisses. I get along very well with everyone I meet- and love attention from anyone new. I wouldn't mind at all being your only dog.
