| Throw the ball, throw the ball, please throw the ball! This is Patton and he just loves to play ball. You can even throw the ball into the pool and he will go in after it. He is young and full of puppy energy. Patton gets along with other dachshunds, both male and female and needs a dachshund buddy in his forever home. He doesn’t do well with non-dachshund dogs and still after several months has issue with the non-dachshund in his foster home. And No cat… he just will not adjust to them and could hurt them. Older children are great but he may be a little rough with young ones. Patton came in totally non-housetrained and is getting better daily, but will need continued work in his forever home.
