| I am an adorable little 'girl' (chihuahua/dachshund) w/ the most endearing & captivating personality! I was found as a pitiful stray on some landfill road---thin & in rough shape. I resided in an animal shelter for over a month--my time was up but rescue wanted to give me a chance @ a good life, b/c the shelter staff found my personality/temperment remarkable! The shelter was referring to me as 'little old lady', & once rescue got me--the vet's ofc. felt that "Lady" suited me, so I am now affectionately called 'Lady-bug'! I have had all of my vetting done now, so looking for that home that wants to lavish love & attention on me forever! I am housetrained, crate-trained (tho' I don't need to be), ride in the car like a 'saint', walk well on leash/halter, love other dogs (matters not the size), fine w/ cats, love all people, & love a routine! My one 'special need' (if you want to call it that) is that I am blind in my left eye. I was this way when I came into rescue, & other than making some concessions for the fact that I can't always perceive distance/objects from my left, I'm fine!
