| My name is Coco Bean, and I am in search of a furever home. When I first came to my new foster home I was very scared of people. You see, I came from a place with a whole bunch of brothers and sisters of all shapes and sizes, but only one non-furry Mama. Because of this, I don’t get along with big dogs because they tend to step on me and cover me in slobber. I do however love my foster siblings because they are small like me. In my foster home I get my very own crate (which is my most favorite place to be) and my own dog bowl too! I even get to eat a whole meal everyday and special treats for no reason at all! It’s amazing isn’t it? You should see me hop around for it; I just love getting to eat everyday. My foster Mama says she trusts me completely with her carpet and pillows. I’m not sure what that means, but I know that when she’s in a good mood, she tucks me into her bed and leaves me all alone in the house while she goes to this horrible place called work. My foster siblings still have to go in their crates because they potty in the house and chew things up. I would never do something like that because I get at least 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep in the big bed without my foster siblings licking me to death. Plus Mama’s pillow is the best! The rest of the time alone I spend in my very own crate. I love my crate, because I’ve never had anything that belonged just to me, so it’s my favorite place in the world. At night my Mama has to pull me out of my crate to sleep with her and my foster Daddy. I prefer to sleep between them, and usually manage to steal Mama’s pillow. I love going for walks and Mama says I am good at 'heeling', but that just means I let her lead me where I need to go. Squirrels tease me everyday, but I have yet to catch one. Never fear, I am not giving up. Toys don’t interest me much, but I love dog bones that last forever and running around in the yard. After all, someone needs to ensure that the squirrels haven’t taken over! But mostly I love to just snuggle with my foster parents, especially if there is a blanket involved. Mama pray’s with me every night that I will find a furever home and never have to go un-loved again. Is there any chance you might be able to find room in your home for me? I promise not to potty on it or chew up anything, and don't worry I'm good for it, just ask my foster Mama! To see more pictures of Coco visit: http://southeastvadachshundrescue.shutterfly.com/Cocoa |
