| ***UPDATE ON JIGGS*** Jiggs spent last Sunday at a rescue event with lots of strangers coming by to see the available dogs. Everyone loved his pattern and thought he was a handsome boy! Lots of children wanted to play with Jiggs, and he let everyone pet him and hug him. Several children asked to hold him, and he was friendly with all, snuggling in their arms and giving kisses!! Jiggs came into Spartanburg Humane Society as a stray and was never claimed. He is so sweet and loves everyone (maybe not cats!) He is an Alpha Male and needs an experienced Dachsie owner if there are other male dogs in the house. Jiggs gets his name from the piebald pattern he has -- it looks like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle! He is bright-eyed and full of puppy kisses. He is fully housebroken with a doggie door, and eats and sleeps in his crate. I am sure he would much prefer to sleep in the big bed, as he loves to cuddle and snuggle when we are watching TV. He walks well on a leash and enjoys riding in the car. Jiggs was previously adopted and returned for snapping at a small child. He has disiplayed none of those behaviors here, but we do not want him going to a family with small children or children who have not been taught to play appropriately with a Dachsie. Do you need a Handsome Hunk to accompany you on walks and car rides? How about a super snuggler? Or a clown to keep you laughing? Then, Jiggs may be the right dog for you!!
