| Precious is a plus-size standard smooth dachshund who enjoys playing with other dogs her size and also having her power naps throughout the day. She is an avid hunter of small creatures in the field but so far hasn't caught anything more than a dandelion. She is an active happy girl who likes meeting people. She is vocal about when she wants her treats and food. Precious is accepting of being groomed including having her ears and toenails cleaned/clipped. Her ideal home will be a loving person or family who will work with her on getting her schoolgirl figure back by taking her on long walks. Precious is a comedian. She likes to talk especially at mealtimes. Something about her personality reminds me of one of Carol Burnette's characters - the way she walks and interacts with me and the other dogs. She has those flying nun ears which fly when she runs wide open. She is more of sprinter than a long distance runner and soon after her frequent sprints, she can be seen lounging on her side taking a power nap. She is dog that will make you smile since she is such a jolly personality. |
