Biography

Hi, Rosey here! I’m a really cute, soft, wire haired, mini dachshund. I am a happy little girl, who is about 1 ½ years old and have already had a litter of puppies. DRNA has taken care that that won’t happen again. Anyway, because of the puppies, I tend to be emotionally more mature than most dogs my age. I am almost completely housetrained except in extreme circumstances if I can’t get out for a walk. I can be trusted with the run of the house. This is especially true if I have some toys to chew on and play with. I tend to be an alpha female and will mother most other dogs in the household. I am not a kisser , but I love attention and will greet you at the door with great enthusiasm when you come home. I am interested in everything around me and am a good watch dog, but not a barker. I do tend to whine just enough to make you feel bad when you leave me, but not for long. When you get back I will jump for joy! I am, however, an escape artist extraordinaire . I can slip by you so fast when you open the door that you will hardly notice me. I hate being crated! In fact, I have destroyed a wire crate at foster mom’s (hehe)! I love to sleep on top of the covers on the big bed at night. I will sleep all night and tend to be a lazy girl in the mornings until you start moving around.
Wouldn’t you like to have a sweet, little lady jumping for joy when you get home? If so please fill out an application for me. I would love to be with my own forever family.
